Ingredients of Spanakorizo

  1. It's 1 cup of basmati rice.
  2. Prepare 100 gm of spinach.
  3. Prepare 1 of onion chopped.
  4. It's 1 tbsp of garlic chopped.
  5. You need 1 tbsp of garlic chives chopped.
  6. Prepare 2 tbsp of oil.
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp of butter.
  8. You need 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
  9. It's 1 tsp of lemon zest.
  10. You need 1 tsp of salt.
  11. It's 1/4 tsp of pepper.
  12. It's 25 gm of feta cheese.

Spanakorizo step by step

  2. Heat oil and butter in a pot. Add chopped garlic and then chopped onions to it... fry till pink and then add chives saute and then add spinach. Mix and then add rice to it... mix well and add salt and pepper and 2 cups water to it... cook for 15 -20 mins till the rice is done..
  3. Then add lemon juice and lemon zest and some more chives and mix..
  4. Serve on a plate and garnish with some grated feta cheese and some more chives. Serve hot or cold..
