Recipe: Perfect Fried Rice

Fried Rice. A great way to use up leftover rice, this quick fried rice cooks up with frozen peas, baby carrots, eggs, and soy and sesame sauces. The primary reason for the continued popularity and ubiquity of this dish comes down to two things. Add egg, and cook until scrambled, stirring occasionally.

Fried Rice It is very popular in Thailand and easy to make. All ingredients should be prepped in advance cause once you start frying the rice, it goes fast. Fried Rice is a combination of long grained rice, mixture of warm peas, carrots and onions with scrambled eggs mixed all together! You can have Fried Rice using 11 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you cook that.

Ingredients of Fried Rice

  1. Prepare 3 cups of cold/leftover cooked white rice.
  2. You need 1/2 cup of butter.
  3. You need 1 of medium chopped yellow onion.
  4. It's 2 stalks of chopped celery.
  5. Prepare 2 cloves of minced garlic.
  6. Prepare 2 of carrots, diced into small cubes.
  7. You need 1 1/2 cups of fresh broccoli, cut small.
  8. It's 1 cup of frozen peas.
  9. Prepare 3 of eggs, beaten.
  10. Prepare 1/4-1/2 cup of soy sauce.
  11. You need of Pepper.

You will not be getting take out any longer! Have fried rice as an entree or a side dish when serving it! If you love fried rice try these variations of fried rice: Bacon Fried Rice, Shrimp Fried Rice, Ham Fried Rice or Chicken Fried Rice. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Fried Rice step by step

  1. Use the biggest and deepest skillet you have!.
  2. Melt butter.
  3. Add onion, garlic,celery and carrots. Saute until onions are transparent (about 5 minutes).
  4. Add peas and broccoli and cook for 1 more minute, until peas are thawed..
  5. Push your veggies to one side of your skillet and start to scramble your eggs on the other side. Once eggs are cooked you can blend them in with veggies..
  6. Season with pepper.
  7. Then add a small amount of rice, and a little soy sauce, small amount of rice and a little soy sauce (keep alternating until it's all mixed) you may or may not need to add more soy sauce. Do a taste test at this point to see what you prefer..
