Ingredients of Surti Khaman
- Prepare 150 gm of chana dal.
- You need 1/2 bowl of rice.
- It's 100 gm of thick curd.
- Prepare 1 spoon of chopped green chilli.
- It's 1/2 spoon of eno.
- You need 1/2 spoon of turmeric powder.
- You need 2 spoon of oil.
- Prepare 1 spoon of ginger garlic paste.
- You need of For tadka.
- It's 1 spoon of black mustard seed.
- Prepare as needed of Some green chilli.
- You need Handful of kadi patta.
Surti Khaman instructions
- Soaked chana daal and rice sperately for 2 to 3 hrs.
- After 3 hrs grind daal and rice with thick curd.Do not add water..
- Make fine paste.Let it be ferminate for 8 to 9 hrs..
- After 8 hrs put some water in steamer or a vessel.Put a stand in it.Let the water to be boiled..
- Grease the tin in which you are going to make the dhokla.
- Now put some chopped green chilli, ginger garlic paste,salt,oil,turmeric powder and eno in that.Mix well.
- Now immediately put the batter in the greased tin.Tap twice.
- Put the grease tin in streamer. Stem it for 15 min.
- After 15 to 20 min your dhokla is ready. Let it be cool for 10 min..
- Take out the dhokla from the tin.
- Make a tadka of black mustard seed, green chilli and kadi patta..
- Cut in desire shape.your surati khaman is ready to eat.Enjoy with fry green chilli..
