  1. Prepare 150 gm of chana dal.
  2. You need 1/2 bowl of rice.
  3. It's 100 gm of thick curd.
  4. Prepare 1 spoon of chopped green chilli.
  5. It's 1/2 spoon of eno.
  6. You need 1/2 spoon of turmeric powder.
  7. You need 2 spoon of oil.
  8. Prepare 1 spoon of ginger garlic paste.
  9. You need of For tadka.
  10. It's 1 spoon of black mustard seed.
  11. Prepare as needed of Some green chilli.
  12. You need Handful of kadi patta.

Surti Khaman instructions

  1. Soaked chana daal and rice sperately for 2 to 3 hrs.
  2. After 3 hrs grind daal and rice with thick curd.Do not add water..
  3. Make fine paste.Let it be ferminate for 8 to 9 hrs..
  4. After 8 hrs put some water in steamer or a vessel.Put a stand in it.Let the water to be boiled..
  5. Grease the tin in which you are going to make the dhokla.
  6. Now put some chopped green chilli, ginger garlic paste,salt,oil,turmeric powder and eno in that.Mix well.
  7. Now immediately put the batter in the greased tin.Tap twice.
  8. Put the grease tin in streamer. Stem it for 15 min.
  9. After 15 to 20 min your dhokla is ready. Let it be cool for 10 min..
  10. Take out the dhokla from the tin.
  11. Make a tadka of black mustard seed, green chilli and kadi patta..
  12. Cut in desire shape.your surati khaman is ready to eat.Enjoy with fry green chilli..
